BIO

I am a NY State licensed psychotherapist practicing in New York City with individuals and couples. I was born in New York and studied religion at Reed College before completing a master’s degree in clinical social work at NYU. I hold certificates in couples therapy from the William Alanson White Institute and Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy from the Center for Optimal Living, and have training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialogic practice, and EFT.

I am a psychotherapist and continuing education consultant at the practice of Jumana Grassi, LCSW. Our office is located near Grand Central, and currently on video conferencing and telephone due to Covid-19. I am experienced in working with substance use issues through a harm reduction lens, and have a background in outpatient mental health and mobile psychiatric crisis work. I have a particular interest in alternative and non-oppressive approaches to distress and crises.
